The CESCOM Bachelor’s in Start-up and Business Development (SBD) is a Level 6 qualification listed on the RNCP, designed to transform creative or analytical profiles into true business builders, capable not only of managing an existing company but also of creating value where it does not yet exist.
This programme is ideally suited to Managers responsible for promoting entrepreneurship, seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.
The CESCOM Bachelor’s in SBD enables students to be highly operational from their first professional experience or to pursue further studies at Bachelor’s (Year 4) or Master’s level. Courses, lectures, Masterclasses, and Business Games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their fields.

Prerequisites:
The CESCOM Bachelor’s in Start-up and Business Development (SBD is open to holders of a Baccalaureate and, for entry into the 3rd year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.
Admission is based on application review and, where applicable, an interview.
Students entering the first year of the Master’s programme are required to validate all skills blocks
This Master’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment.
Programme objectives
The CESCOM Bachelor’s in Start-up and Business Development (SBD) is a state-recognised Level 6 qualification aimed at achieving the following objectives:
- Learn to identify real problems and design innovative solutions
- Test concepts rapidly using a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in order to validate the market without excessive expenditure
- Adopt flexible working methods (Scrum, Kanban) to pivot quickly when necessary
- Identify and approach key partners or clients
- Master B2B (Business to Business) sales techniques and contract closing
- Use marketing and technological techniques to achieve rapid growth at a lower cost
- Model future profitability
- Manage cash flow and the rate at which capital is consumed
- Prepare fundraising rounds (Seed, Series A) and pitch to Business Angels
- Learn to view failure as a stage in the learning process
- Recruit and unite a team around a shared vision in an uncertain environment
- Be capable of switching between marketing, accounting, and legal matters within a single day

Admission Procedures and Deadlines
Access deadlines
- Applications for the September 2026 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
- Applications for the deferred January 2027 intake remain open until 18 December.
Modalities
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
- By the employer,
- At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
- By a student or their legal guardian
- Work-study is available from the third year onwards
Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.
